After finishing my degree in Chemistry I completed an MPhil and PhD in Sikh Studies.​

I completed my PhD at The University of Birmingham, School of Philosophy, Theology and Religions. 

My chosen subject was the Dasam Granth Sahib, my thesis was titled ‘Dasam Granth Re-examined’.

 

The book below titled ‘Dasam Granth Questions and Answers’ has been published.
This was written with a colleague, of mine Gurinder Singh Mann.
We also published a The Granth of Guru Gobind Singh with Oxford University Press.

I am an expert linguist and have worked for the Crown Prosecution Services and taught languages at the School of African and Oriental Studies.

I have been a consultant to a number of museums and galleries around the world and I regularly travel and teach about related subjects.
